The fact that cryptocyprus still posts here is mind blowing. THIS is the kind of stuff he shouldn't be wasting his time on. Posting one update a month should be sufficient for you asshats. He didn't need to try to get your coins back, he could have just moved on with his life and project.
Correct - totally true.
So there is something that is stopping him from ignoring the situation, and it isn't the goodness of his heart.
However, it is something, like the rest of this situation, that is hidden.

I will bet money that if this gets resolved and you get your coins back, a very small percentage of you will even take the time to thank him. If he comes out and says "well I tried" you will grab your pitchforks.
... and I'm sure he will be happy with the results of why he is doing this also.

There is only one person to gain from the process - Ukyo - who had the BTC in trust and now seems to no longer have it according to cryptocyprus' words.
For the rest of us, it simply stops us from losing what we are owed and are still waiting for.

There was no chance that you were getting your coins back prior to the involvement, keep thinking that way. What's the saying? Don't put in more than you are willing to lose.
... and what is that statement based on: "... no chance ..."

There are no details given out except what, certainly to date, amount to empty promises.
Nothing has happened so far that has been said would happen.
No details have been supplied except that originally it was stated to be one problem, now it's changed to "the coins are gone" (disappeared magically apparently)

Yes it may happen in the future that we get our coins back, but so far the only thing we've been told that supposedly has happened is that Ukyo can afford to and has left the USA to fly to Greece.

... and the unknown future is: we might get back what we have been owed for a month or more ... as a promise from someone who most of us have no idea who they are and certainly have no details on how they are going to get back the missing BTC. Nothing has been done yet, and the motive for providing the help to Ukyo has not yet been disclosed.
