University of Nicosia has reported to take BTC and offer MSc Digital Currency.

I was interested in this and wanted to learn more about the program. There is not much online. Anyone know who is running this or how to contact them directly?

Also I went to apply to the university and guess what, they take paypal but there is no way to pay in BTC that I could find Sad

Pretty disappointing but hopefully they are just updating things.

Hello,

I live in Cyprus, University of Nicosia is the largest uni here. Respected one. I have friend who finished Hospitality management there and I can say she is really good professional.
They do not accept BTC payments directly through the website, you have to call their financial department:
"Making Payments Using Bitcoin
If you would like to pay your tuition and/or fees using Bitcoin, please contact the Finance Department at the University of Nicosia at +357 22 841518" Check this page: http://www.unic.ac.cy/about-us/university-of-nicosia-digital-currency-initiative/bitcoin-payments

The University of Nicosia is launching the first Master of Science degree in Digital Currency that will be offered to students worldwide through online and in-person formats in Spring 2014.
Here is more info about the MSc Digital Currency: http://www.unic.ac.cy/about-us/university-of-nicosia-digital-currency-initiative/msc-digital-currency
They offer it also ONLINE, but i recommend anyone interested to visit Cyprus. It is great place here with good weather almost all year round Smiley

And finally you can subscribe to their mailing list: "To receive updates about the developments of the University of Nicosia Digital Currency Initiative, please enter your email address below to join our general mailing list for the initiative"

Seems like the management of this private uni are smart and open minded people. Wish i had enough BTC to study there.
