Well, one attack should be enough for you to loose total confidence. You take a look at the way the developers/moderators doesn't take it seriously and tries to burry it.

I'm not even going to go into details about the supposed "fix". I coin rated as high as Verge shouldn't have this sort of problems. As a minimum treat the person who found this with respect.. Had this been at NEM, OCMiner would have gotten a reward for bringing attention to the attack  

Edit: You actually highlight the problem very well with your one sentence. There should never have been a second (or third, or fourth) attack. Resources should have been used to fast and effectively stop the issue.
