I'm not invested in this XVG drama whatsoever since i could care less about privacy coins (privacy is an added feature that I could care less about since I'm not a shady fuck)...

I wonder when people will stop giving the "i got nothing to hide" reasoning. Privacy is important in this modern all-seeing world more than ever

Maybe because not all of us need to be able to hide transactions? It is a nice feature yes, but I look for more in cryptos than just being able to hide my transaction history. And even if I wanted it, there are other options? Is this not a free market? Am I not allowed to have options that don't have a sketchy recent history?
I like coins that aren't subject to network attacks like Verge.

And while I may get shit for this, I am one who actually likes the idea of paying taxes and whatnot... Maybe not under this current administration, but it is something I like to pay into nonetheless. So my transactions have no reason to go unrecorded... And there are plenty of other coins out there that are capable of transferring funds with better tech than XVG if that's all I wanted to do with it.

It's cool if others here have the need for privacy. That's fine. Simply put: there are better options.

Let the free market decide who comes out on top.

BTW this response isn't a knock on privacy coins. I own none. It's just that you're argument given the context of your pro-Verge position needed a new take on the situation at play.
