No other coin son earth were hacked several times through the exact same exploit that was supposingly fixed. As an investors, I wouldn't put a cent into a system which isn't proven secure.

I wonder where were ya'all when bitcoin had many bugs in its early days and when it was hacked, exploited or whatever you wanna call. Verge is basing codebase to bitcoin 0.16

Bitcoin was never hacked twice in 2 months with the same exploit and their devs never ignored people when people pointed out that a fix wasn't enough. Anyway, Verge is going to copy the rebasing from Shield GitHub and we'll all have proof of this because of the magic that is timestamps.
