Marketing is everything in any project. They should have a formidable concept on how they want to compete against Netflix.
Here only marketing is missing. The platform and the features looking good
it's a problem with many ICO's these days, that they don't properly promote their projects. It's sad to see teams underestimate this.

You are right, now there are many ICO projects and need to somehow stand out, if they would attract well-known adviser or run alpha version, then there would be more investors.
I think many projects were planned 8-10 months ago in light of the ICO golden age of last year. all you needed was a whitepaper and you sold out for your hardcap. However, there are so many more competing ICOs today and they need to adapt to this as you rightfully pointed out.
