Eth in my opinion is actually worth more than any other coin in the crypto space, even more than Bitcoin. It is being used as the platform for smart contracts, and other coins, faster and cheaper transactions which is Bitcoin's major struggle. Because of Eth, DAI was created, a coin that's made to be 1:1 with the dollar and with minimal volatility. This may not directly benefit Eth, but these things benefit the progress of the blockchain technology in the long run.
