Omiron was a community oriented PoS and PoW hybrid coin that functioned to provide passive income to investors from steady masternodes returns. The genesis block was mined on December 20, 2017 and the coin has gone through 4 block reward phases, a consensus change and over 230,000 blocks mined since its inception.
There is no efficient method to integrate smart contracts on the OMR chain that would assign a sound use case, without building some kind of loosely associated 3rd party platform. Instead, we have opted to create a side chain utility token known as NBL, that will fulfill the role of bridging interoperability, enabling smart contract implementation and DAPP creation. To reflect changes of such magnitude, the team has opted for a re-brand from Cosmo to Omiron coin.
All of the planned features, including interoperability, will be made possible via a decentralized autonomous swapping exchange, where one will be able to trade seamlessly between Omiron coin and Nebuli.
Our ambitious roadmap includes adding innovation to both the side and main chain. On the existing Cosmo chain, we will be adding our own variant of Zerocoin Protocol, which enables users to transact with complete anonymity using OMR. On the sidechain there are an array of features planned, from an oracle powered gambling platform to a second generation, multiplayer capable and multifaceted Solidity written DAPP game.
