The flexibility and capability of Ethereum is not yet fully utilized but many people understand its potential to be a huge impact to the society.  This is the reason many projects are copying its capabilities such as the ability to support assets on their platform and ability to support smart contracts.

I don't know if Ethereum will beat out all other copy coins but it certainly has managed to steer the cryptocurrency's future.
