It's not funny man!!! It's a critical choice for us in Greece! Our all-knowing government (and the EU along with it) are at the brink of completely banning commuting!!!

I like to think I'm usually informed about European politics (EU uber alles! jk.), but what is this about? How can anyone "ban" commuting? Or are they cutting commuting subsidies?

Blame the dinosaurs for not having more sex. Politicians can't magically conjure fossile fuel, it's a finite resource unfortunately.
It seems that you haven't seen a paper from BP where it is stated the from the nineties until global reserves have risen by 144% while global demand has only risen by ~40%!!!
