Whre did you read that Elastic will have masternodes?
I don't really think that you can label XEL as a security, it's an utility asset/coin/token whatever you wanna call it, used to buy computational power

I think they mean main net not mssternode :p
That would be a first for me to read about masternodes. There is some reward system by the usage of forging. Maybe they really meant main net in the original post. I can only advise everyone to watch the vimeo video posted above about the usage of the project. That is really great and gives a first look and feel for the capabilities of the project
