Why there seems to be no high profile ICO launching in waves platform? How many ICO approximately will use waves this year?

Last year, the waves became popular for the ICO. But due to the fact that there were no smart contracts, most projects decided to conduct their ICO on the etherium platform. We are waiting for a full-fledged release of smart contracts.
