The lines you quoted are different lol. Anyway, the shield devs have credited Verge devs. Verge devs didn't credit shield devs for the fix they copied.
More than that. Verge developer tried to appropriate XSH developers work, he said in discord that it's his own work and XSH team copied it.
This is the main reason of all this drama about copying. It's all open source of course, but it's beyond the limits, I guess.
