The market can only clear itself naturally, as it is not regulated by anyone. I think the bad times are making positive impact on this matter, because people sell everything for the coins they truly believe in. Thus, the shitty projects simply die, because nobody wants them, while top project pave their way to success.
By supporting some unnatural ways of 'getting them out of the market' we are sacrificing the freedom of the market. It is like the question of whether it's okay for the government to spy on their citizens if that prevents crimes. I believe these methods work, but eventually appear ineffective, because this is not the way it should be done. We have to wait till the inner control system is generated.
