As I mentioned before, at the first step and for the first year, we will follow Ethereum project. It will let us to have more time and resources to focus on other aspects of this blockchain based project.
When somebody uses a blockchain based project (say, Ethereum for instance) he doesn't interact directly with the blockchain (at least in most of the cases!) But this usage occurs via some interfaces. And we think that there are so many improvement potential in this area. Because of this simple idea, we prefer to focus on that interfaces at the first step and do not any (nor usable, useless, just for advertising or so on) changes on blockchain side.
After completion of some of our Apps, Dapps and non-blockchain improvement of blockchain technology, and having a good and supportive community of users, we can change and improve Nilu's  Ethereum blockchain core.
