I prefer to have a few VPS set up to run multiple masternodes as its easier and it doesn't cost all that much as just a week earning MN rewards from just one coin will cover the costs for the whole month for all the VPS set up. Of course it depends on the MN coins and price however it is more then likely that the costs will be covered in the first week.
