A successful trader somehow should be educated, you clearly can't trade according to news and other people's analysis and predictions in the long term so you should be educated or educate yourself.
Yes you were right trading needs a lot of knowledge if you were low in IQ I believe you will not be a successful trader. To trade we must understand everything in trading and apply our knowledge.
If you can spend more time to read and analyze the market then maybe you have a good chance.
What's important here is you continue to educate yourself and learn from your mistakes so you'll improve, there is no instant success here, you can
only get your successful over time but the moment you get it, it will remain.
