In Asia there are many startups trying to reach the world. NEO, an open source blockchain platform, was developed in Shanghai and has NEO copper that topped the world's largest capitalized electronic currency. According to founder Da Hongfei, NEO is designed to "connect the digital world to the real world." More than a dozen startups in and out of China are developing NEO-based "distributed application" software. Among them are Red Pulse, a company that provides a semi-auto stock research system that uses AI to collect data and generate research reports before being edited by humans. Red Pulse's clients include Bloomberg and several other financial news outlets.
