I think ICOs are still not dead but the only problem is it became very hard to trust any projects right now, since most are just scammers and some are failing this is why some people stop investing on ICOs. There are lots of projects almost everyday that are being introduced to investors but some developers are just copying previous projects and will say that it is better (but not really) to create easy money and there is no new ideas on how to improve something new, but I still believe that there are still lots of possible future development using new cryptocurrencies, it is just that we need to discover it and developers should stop cloning each other.
