Bitcoin and Blockchain tech are two separate entities in terms of the Crypto world. Bitcoin introduced the world to the idea of Blockchain tech but Blockchain tech has metaphorically gone from being the student to being the master. Blockchain has more of a long term implementation in solving real world problems and recording data through history in an encrypted format that can not be altered. The level of innovation in Blockchain tech has all sorts of theoretical implementations in the future (look at the potential of coins such as ETH and their Blockchain tech etc) to solve real world problems.

I could go on and on about the possibilities of Blockchain tech and its incredible potential that everyone can see within the tech world. Blockchain tech will be able to run long past the eventual expiration of Bitcoin as a sustainable currency in the future.
