Thank you for posting this work! So far I understand BTC is more traceable in the chain than cash in global circulation. What's to be done to improve security?

Security is a personal thing like it is with cash. You don't ask what can be done to a dollar bill to make it more secure in your wallet. Just don't carry very many in your wallet at once in case you lose it.

Thank you, I understand that 'eggs in a basket', I was really trying to understand the 3-way security used like escrow, I don't understand it properly. I have a lot of application for this if I can understand it?

Oh, I don't think most of these scams happened because of failure to use escrow.  The people that were scammed sent their coin to a service and the service didn't secure it or failed to properly secure their wallet. As far as using escrow, there are fairly simple ways of doing it being developed. Not all of them are completed projects.
