How do I get my wallet to sync? I know it involves some sort of conf file, but I don't know how to work it.

i am not familiar with mac, though I am gonna try to help you knowing that no one is willing to help you here. so far.
you have a run dogecoin qt once. then close it. Now copy the dogecoin.conf info from the first thread here. And go to somewhere in users/app data and look for a folder called "dogecoin" there should be a folder called "database" a file called "wallet.dat". That is the correct folder if you found it. Now make a file here dogecoin.conf
Paste all the dogecoin config from the first page into that dogecoin.conf file.
Now run the dogecoin qt. And it will sync!. Also if it still not sync. Allow the dogecoin qt through your firewall. if you had success. send me some dogecoin for love DQmSoqzjHy6xbZDrcf7DwLSSAHhA1pBfyV
