When I bought my mini's I figured there would be an X9. Thing is the mini's are perfect for home, they are as quiet as a GPU right, and don't draw a lot of power. There is a market for them, deal with it
Again, this. It's like saying Mac Minis are a conspiracy because Mac Pros exist.
I know that, but our thread troll wants everyone to think if you bought a mini you are going to be screwed because one Bitmain is evil and 2 the Z9 will be 50 times faster at a 10th of the price.
Haha, I know, I was agreeing with you, you'll get no drama from me.

It's turning out that the actual Z9 may just be a standard length version of the mini, so just double the cards, since so far I have oc'ed mine more than 60% with zero HW errors after 24hrs. 2x1.6=3.2, which is easily in the 3-4x range mentioned on Twitter. These things are grossly underclocked.
EDIT: for others reading this I'm not saying you should go that high, I am totally willing to risk my Z9 to see how far it goes. It could very well burn out at any time, I am not endorsing overclocking and voiding your warranty, just sharing my experiences.
