I recommend hodl bitcoin or ethereum since both are more stable and have a trading volume than other altcoins, so you can exit your position easily. In my opinion, it is better to trade smaller altcoins and hodl them for the short-term only.
I think its better to hold bitcoin more than other coins but it depends on what you think is good but in my opinion bitcoin has a huge value so you can be sure to get a bigger profit if you are wise to handle it,bitcoin is secure and easy to transact,maybe theres a time that sometimes its price goes down but it will not too long and it will go back on its normal price and it will even increase.you do this to get good profit,you give 80% of bitcoin and 20% of altcoins.
