Most of the times, the taxes that the people pay are sent to third world countries in the name of AID and the leaders there misuse the money there so i wonder the relevance of them sending the AID there in the first place whiles there things to be done in our very own country.
Business is the right way to earn back money. Instead of sending $2 billion aid, start a factory overseas with $2 billion. This will create jobs & production and the money sender will earn back the money from profits
Actually ! Actually... Actually often aid is aimed at killing local production, so the market will be free of local products.
For example, if you provide cheap or free butter to a country it will kill all local producers of butter.
Few years later you stop sending aid and your own butter producers begin accessing this market
