So far I have not seen an official online store that accepts bitcoin payments, if unofficial ones may be many, it is also very vulnerable to fraud.
I don't know what do you mean by "official", but there's some big company that already accept bitcoin such as microsoft, dell, newegg and if i'm not wrong, overstock accept bitcoin too in the past, idk if they still accept it or not.
i can buy all the needs of my family using bitcoin. there are some establishments who accept bitcoin as payment but there are some are not. bitcoin can be use to purchase anything you want just like money can do however, there are still some places where it is prohibited that is why it is limited. Bitcoin now a mode of payment that you can even get a real estate through it. for me instead of using bitcoin to purchase stuffs or services I use it to invest and earn profits. Since I don't have the luxury to spend I rather hold my bitcoins and wait for the price to go up.
