Having a backup plan means you and your family can receive fair value for all your hard work and the return of all the money you lent to the crypto or to your business over the years. Perhaps the simplest way to effect a transfer of your bitcoin, or any of your tokens, is to keep your private key stored on a piece of paper, and then place that paper in a safe or safety deposit box as you might do with any other assets that you intend to bequeath.
