The saddest part is that most of them were left out for no fault of theirs. Many of them were performing well. But players such as Nainggolan were left out because the national team coach was not very fond of them.

And tomahawk9, no Alexis Sanchez and Bale? I mean I get that Fabregas or Nainggolan aren't included in their respective national teams but can Chile or Wales make do without Sanchez and Bale? It's pretty surprising...
