This is really interesting so in the future the technology of 3d printers will allow us to print houses as well, that is incredible, but even if you could do that you will still need land to place that home so it is possible that houses become incredibly cheap but the land becomes very expensive, anyway it is still going to take sometime before that happens so investing in real estate is still a good idea.
