Graham is working on including some of the upstream PIVX code into current master code base to fix some of the issues that we ran into with creating the Windows binaries. He'll then merge that and the other branch for our working codebase. We'll run through and clean it up and begin testing it on the network. Once that is complete and we're satisfied with the results we'll start prepping for launch on cryptopia.
Sorry guys, but at this point, I'd rather you release NOW, even if it is not well-rounded.

As it stands, from a technological standpoint, it will be "just" a PIVX clone, so it should be possible to launch with a couple of warts and then merge upstream changes in a dot-release. PIVX didn't hard-fork, so HLM won't have to either. I've said farewell to the idea that HLM will bring something interesting to the table from a a technological point of view, so the focus must be on the business side.

I cannot see the construction industry adopting crypto, it being very conservative and digitally challenged, but this is what @coins101 believed, so I hope he is still pushing for business adoption, proof-of-concepts, partnerships and what have you. For that, we NEED something that works, and soon. You cannot promise creating a next-gen system and then not deliver for months. Unfortunately, that makes me doubt there's anything going on the business development side.

Do you have a running system with the tokenomics variables changed and validated from PIVX? If yes, just release it, everything else can come later. Taking time to perfect something instead of releasing is the wrong way in software.

I agree, while time is passing, more and more new projects will be trying to achieve similar goals to Helium, so the advantage could be lost. It looks to me that another ICO season has started in crypto, and the competition is getting stiff. I hope everything goes well tho, and we all be celebrating the mainnet launch soon.

Yes the time to get are helium coins has been quite excessive and unexpected.  We were promised or expecting a much sooner wallet release.  This is unacceptable to the investors.

What did you invest? Afaik, they didn't do any ICO/pre sale. If you are talking about buying SPR, I can't say it is an investment.

You had to buy SPR to get HLM airdrop, right? Even if it wasn't direct buy like during ICO, but still it was investment.
