I am an Ukrainian. I got to say that I am absolutely not glad that this bridge exists. This bridge reduces the chances of the Crimea returning to Ukraine. The bridge was built illegally. Also, according to experts, because of too narrow passages between the arches of the bridge, the vessels that will displace more than 18 thousand tons will not be able to pass into the Azov Sea and will not enter the ports of Berdyansk and Mariupol. Honestly, I hope it will be destroyed or smashed one day.
bridges are always good they reduce the costs of transporting goods
Bridges are good if they were built legally. The Crimea bridge was built illegally and annexation by russia was illegal. Soon, there will be new sanctions over those companies who have built this bridge and I hope these sanctions will be severe. I don't care about transporting goods to Crimea from russia, I just wanna Crimea be completely blocked.
who is to decide about illegality and legality? in my oppinion clearly the economic wellbeing of the population, not some nationalistic powerhungry freaks desires for power and influence.
If it was legal, could you tell me how many countries consider Crimea as a part of russia? It has nothing to do with economic reasons. Crimean people never declared that they want to be a part of russia until russian propaganda came out in 2013.
i dont mind actually as long as the people have access to the internet they can chose the stuff they read, weather, suffering from ukranian or russian propaganda makes no issue, then.
for me its a bridge and a bridge decreases transaction costs making people richer, and thats the most important thing. i am always pro economic value sources.
amount of countries doesnt matter actually, what matters is economy, as we are in a digital gloablist age, ukrainians and russians should learn englisch
