Vostok will be a ERP like solution with private chains so that major institutions/companies/banks can use it. Waves is a decentralized open blockchain and most institutions dont like this. The technology and code used for Vostok is based on Waves and therefore funded with ICO community funds. There are concerns in the Waves community that Waves holders will not benefit enough from this project and that the team can better focus it's priorities on the Waves platform improvements, rather than launching another project.
i have no idea what they are about to do but if vostok is going to be using the wavesplatform then the users and businesses using this vostok will also pay waves fee per transaction, correct? i've search over the net but can't find more information about the project seem close door for now.
