For now I recommend Ripple, remember that the current Ripple price is so cheap that it is still under $ 1, if one day it can reach $ 100 then it is certain that Ripple will be number # 1 and replace bitcoin.
There are few coins which are good for the sake of investing of the money other than bitcoin but this does not mean that any of these coins can replace the bitcoin in anyway. Bitcoin is at the top of the list and that it will always remain there in all the situations. I dont think so that there will be any such coin which will have this much potential to even compete with bitcoin in future even.
