I stopped listening to such arguments back in 2017, i do still read them but most of them are pure junk with 0 value, because some people really think they can predict bitcoin price in long term using some technical analysis for it, well it doesn't work all the time and definitely won't guarantee that you're right.
I don't think that bitcoin need that much time to grow again, most likely we won't see new heights in 2018, but for sure we will se them in 2019.
The whole crypto industry is becoming bigger day to day, and comparing market to past years really doesn't work that well today.
