I just honestly think that if you are here and you are participating/looking/learning, then do it the right way!
Forget about the money aspect, help yourself first. This may sound a little bit like double standards as I have a signature campaign on here, but i might as well if i'm here right? It's not the primary reason i'm here. Learn to make content that people find helpful and engaging. Try and have a positive outlook, look at it from the perspective of YOU being the one who is giving out the merit- would you give merit to the vast majority of posts in here? I wouldn't.
I'm no expert but i'm trying. All the knowledge I need is here and on the web, I just have to find it, digest it, shape it and then present it in a way that people find useful and informative. This isn't rocket science guys, all you have to do is try a little harder. If your mindset is right- you are

Earning is an enticing reason, but having that purpose alone won't suffice if one wants to have a purposeful and meaningful participation.
