Yes, Taler is the first Belarus crypto currency, but it doesn't solve any problems and even hardfork wouldn't make it much better than similar coins, because all feature new Taler will receive is developed by other teams for other coins. The only variant for Taler to go to the Moon is to develop original new distinguishing feature. But developer team has no possibilities to do this.
So the simplest way to raise exchange rate is to mine it for now. More miners => less reward => higher rate.
