hahah what a brutal first comment... but in all seriousness.. not every company will have a github - think, any corporate will have a github account? its mainly for open source and hobby projects. sometimes its strategically better not to have a github
A github might add a little bit more credibility but in essence youre right, sometimes too much is too much
