I really hope so but right now it doesn't look like it at all. I think an anonymous crypto currency may replace bitcoin at some point.
How do you figure? There's just not a fat chance... I think there might be slight modifications and patches applied to the bitcoin schema but by and large, it's here to stay for a very long haul.
