Six months to a year is good for me.  Once the hype starts, many people will try to catch a ride on a speeding train.  I have seen "regular stocks" go up 4000% in an hour, ones on NASDAQ.  It could get real interesting.  The thing to remember, the only way to have cash is to convert to BTC and then sell the BTC at one of the exchanges where you can get cash.
