Friends don't understand, family would think its a scam.. co-workers are in buying units now though 
Most people i've talked to have been pretty open about it, and understand it. Most people are pretty good and realize there is a need for it and that it really isn't a scam.
Though a few of the people who in our security department think it is 'a scam' solely for the fact that the only drive for BTC is for illegal and anonymous trade.
