It is trading but next time do not put your money in a single coin for is too risky. Spread your money and invest with different coins to make sure that you will not loosing more buy doing an investment with different coins such as btc and altcoins.
Yeah i think to diversify your portfolio is better approach and Pump and dump are the common things happen when you indulge in trading cryptocurrency, You cannot make sure investment will go up, depends on how the people treated the coin in trading market, That is why sometimes you lose and sometimes you win. If i lose for one coin, I won't stop trading instead i will treat this as an eye opener, and learn from my mistakes until i succeed.
