Why BTC along with all major cryptocurrencis are down today? Not heard any news to reasonate with this drop.
Almost all virtual currency values are down this week. The decline is due to some investors who sell their coins to face holiday needs after Eid Mubarak 2018.
However according to investors monitoring, the decline is due to the existence of warnings from a number of a regulator and increased crackdown on the virtual currency market. But there is also a guess that the decline that occurred this time due to the act of manipulation of the speculators.
I don't think eid mubarak affected bitcoin price because i think islamic countries or countries with largest moslem population are not influential countries in bitcoin unlike western and east asian countries. For example, when Indonesian's government bans bitcoin, the market wasn't affected at all. As you might have known, Indonesia is a country with the biggest moslem population in the world, followed by Pakistan and India (my reference :
