if you just think about all that money in piggy banks, its a huge amount. Money is dirty coins and cash are contaminated and spread all kinds of nasty stuff. a cleaner safer option is definitely a plus.

exactly I never give my kids change, when they are under 3 years old. First thing they do is stick it in their mouths yuk! Digital is a way better option.
