Yes of course! It's not about how much you invest, its when will you gonna invest. I also do investing last year in a small amount in any particular currency that I think that will grow and give me a better profit. Rather than investing too much with a wrong timing in investing that leads to your investments to lose in that year that's why before investing some of your money you better take a look of what's happening in the market.
