I'm recommending to invest in ICO. Its too risk to invest in ICO,but if you are invest in a promising project it will gives 2x or 3x profit when it released to the market.Its a good investment for short term if you can take the risk.
it's too risky if you choose to invest in ICO because as far as I know, the price of ICO after its release on the market is getting down and even lower than the presale price. so I think if you want to find out, then it will need more effort to find the potential ICO that will increase in 2x or 3x and will give profit to you. but this is a good investment that you can try as long as you know the ICO. personally, I suggest doing altcoin investment because you will find many coins that will profit in the long-term.
