Today there are many travel websites like Expedia, TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Airbnb ect ... And also search engine comparing rates like Trivago.

But none of these platforms offer a comprehensive and independent offer. Expedia for example offers flights, hotels, activities and car rental packages.

So it only offers the booking of flights, hotels, activities and car rental (which is already a lot) but it does not necessarily offer the best deals in terms of price and availability because Expedia distributes and sells its own listings. So it does not offer 100% of what is available on the market, but only the best offers from its own listing.
