I do not agree in every point. If you say we dont need banks anymore because of cryptocurrencies, i totally agree. Cryptocurrencies makes banks superfluous. So we dont need these greedy companies who steal our money. But i think we will always need a gouverment who keeps the order. Because blockchain cant protect you from murder and plunder.

and to answer op question. I don't think we've reached the point where we don't need bank or government yet. It may happen in the future as you can see people are getting fed up with all the lies and deception but it will take years before you see anything. Blockchain may or may not help.
