How do you guys spot scam betting sites ? Which are the red flags with those kind of sites and do you believe the rating/review sites or they are mainly paid like the ICO review sites ?

A little google search can save you from scam betting sites. If you come across a cryptocurrency betting website and you want to know about the reputation of that website, try finding its thread in bitcointalk forum. See if the thread is active and if the old members are rating it well. That is when you know the difference.
But you must be careful, because many people who provide false information, because it could be the owner of the website scam (fraud) or cooperate with the website of the fraudsters.

Why would someone be careful in spotting scam gambling site? I will agree here with avikz, everything we need to do is a little search about casino reputation, ans the best place for that search is here in their official thread where anyone can check their team, talk with them and to check what others wrote about that casino.
Why would we bother in spotting scam casino sites, why to do that when we can gamble in reputable casinos, there are so many of them?
Any way there is a member here game-protect, anyone can ask him about scam gambling sites, seems like he knows a lot about it.
Researching about something that you are going too interested in or you would be playing that again. But don’t you think we are doing it at place. We have to rethink about our decision even from root level. Either we are putting our money in a thing, would this thing be legit? Would it be profitable for us? These scam or not things can be solved later once you finalize your field.

People's personal experiences and frustrations over being scammed would be a good consideration. Joining forums and discussions gives you an insight on what people experienced in a certain site so it can be a lot easier to determine scams. Diligence should be practiced in researching since we're talking about money here
I doubt joining forums and taking other people's opinions help the gambler to decide which site to use. You can see the amount of conplains there are currently against fortunejack and betcoin but have you seen their business slowly down, no right they are still out there and people still gamble on it
