Let's not underestimate what Ethereum can do. It might not be on the same level as Bitcoin right now but remember that once Bitcoin reached its limit that would be the end of it. While Ethereum is just starting its stardom and we'll never know what can level can it reach someday. Ethereum still has alot of time to prove that its not the end of it in crypto world.
