I believe you have a good attitude towards the forum, and are starting to build character here, as can be seen by your post history.
As you can see, I mentioned Post History, and that is something all forum users should be aware off and wary about. Very often, meriters value not only the content of the post being merited, but the users posting track. This takes us extra time, but is a known habit here for many reasons.
Of course while checking your history, Ive also seen that I merited you last week too on another post. This caused me to reflect whether an additional merit would be convenient now, knowing full well that your post deserves a merit in my opinion. I have gone ahead as should be.
Unfortunately, one does try to even out the sMerits one sends and not to concentrate them too much or in a very short period of time. This second factor, while not being a wrong doing at all, is often in the minds of merit awarders due to false positive accusations of abusing merit. This is a delicate matter whichever way you look at it, but kind of gets in the way of a clear objective (or should I say subjective rather) mind when it comes to meriting posts from good posters. There are threads where I would nearly merit all the posts within, since all have invested time and thought into the discussion, but the mental brake is drawn and stops the process in its tracks. This I know happens to quite a few of us around here.
To summarize it all: good mindset, good posting history. Merits should come your way with the two factors, at once pace or another. Well done so far.
